About Our Firm

Fellows, Kee, Tymoczko & Pierson, LLC, has been a Main Street business since 1983 when David Kee and Bill Tymoczko became partners. The firm was previously known as Fellows, Kee & Nesbitt. Fellows, Kee, Tymoczko & Pierson, LLC is a full service law firm offering clients assistance in real estate matters, elder law, estate issues and in personal injury/workers’ compensation cases. David Kee retired in 1998. Bill then practiced with Bronwen Pierson, who became a partner in the firm in 2002. Bronwen’s father, Paul “Ted” Pierson, a former Superior Court Justice, has became “Of Counsel” with the firm.  Bronwen has become “Of Counsel” as well, and Christina Perkins has joined the practice as the firm’s newest attorney. Their experienced staff includes Caryn Howard, Lisa Sutherland and Megan Adams.

In January 2002 the firm relocated to a larger office space located at 149 U.S. Route 1, next to McDonald’s. Our larger facility allows us to accommodate our growing business and provide for our clients easy access and ample off-street parking.

Bill Tymoczko

Bill Tymoczko is a Bucksport High School graduate, a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a B.S. in Accounting, and a graduate of the University of Maine Law School. He joined the firm in 1982 and became partner in 1984. Bill is a member of the Maine State Bar Association and the Hancock County Bar Association. Over the years, Bill has established a very successful practice in the Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury and Probate Administration areas of the law. Bill is very active in community projects, sponsors local recreation teams, and is actively involved with the local school district. He resides on Verona Island with his wife. He has two grown children.

Bronwen Pierson

Bronwen Pierson joined the firm as an associate in 1998, and became a partner in 2002. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont and University of Maine Law School. Bronwen established a practice in real estate, elder law, estate planning and corporate matters until she retired in 2008, and became “Of Counsel.” She now owns a real estate agency and enjoys taking care of her two children.

Christina B. Perkins

Christina Perkins is a graduate of Freeport High School, a graduate of the University of Southern Maine where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Philosophy, and a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. Christina joined the firm in 2007 and is a member of the Maine State Bar Association and the Hancock County Bar Association. Her areas of practice include real estate matters, family law and divorce, elder law, estate planning including Wills, Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directives as well as MaineCare planning, animal law, non profit matters and corporation and LLC matters. Christina is very active in the local animal protection community and serves as the current chair of the Animal Welfare Advisory Council, is the president of Maine Farm Animal Advocates, the Assistant Director of the Wildlife Alliance of Maine, and a consultant to Four Feet Forward. In addition, she serves on the board of the Lawyer Referral & Information Service where she wrote the brochure on Estate Planning for Pets. Christina lives in Orland and enjoys hiking the local trails with her dogs and working on her farm where she has a number of rescued animals.

David W. Kee – Retired

David Kee was a founding member and partner in the firm until his retirement in 1998. David served as Hancock County Attorney in the 1970s, was the Maine Human Rights Commissioner from 1974-1989, and was elected Maine State Bar Association President in 1993. For many years he has been involved with the issue of substance abuse in the legal community and continues his to do so after his retirement from the firm.

Paul “Ted” Pierson

Ted Pierson joined the firm on an “Of Counsel” basis in 2002. Ted is a former Maine Superior Court Justice and practiced in the personal injury area with the firm. In his retirement from active practice he specializes in Mediation out of his home. Ted enjoys the Maine outdoors and resides in Holden with his wife.

Caryn Howard

Caryn came to the firm in 1992, and has been in the legal profession since her graduation from Champlain College in 1987. As the real estate paralegal, Caryn assists in the real estate and title insurance matters for the firm. She is a native of Brooksville and now resides in Bucksport with her husband and son. She is enjoys parenting and is active in her son’s school and sports activities.

Lisa Sutherland

Lisa returned to the firm in 1998, and assists Bill in the personal injury, workers’ compensation and probate matters. She is also the bookkeeper for the firm. She graduated from Bucksport High School in 1986, and has resided in the Prospect/Bucksport area all of her life. Lisa enjoys cooking, travel, boating, hunting, fishing and spending time at camp with her husband and family. She is the proud mother of two grown children.

Megan Adams

Megan came to the firm as a legal assistant in 2011 after graduating from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi in 2009, with a B.A. in Spanish and Business Administration. She assists Christina in her practice areas. Megan enjoys being outdoors with her dogs, riding horses, and trying new foods. She is a native of South Dakota and resides with her husband in Orland.
